Bennett Roebuck-Krautz
My Mother is a teacher of more than forty years whose belief is that education is everything. I attended and was the Dux of my local public primary school; I was taught by outstanding teachers. For my secondary education, I attended Sydney Grammar on a full academic scholarship, and received a 99+ ATAR. I studied a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of New South Wales, followed by an Honours from Sydney University, majoring in English for both. Throughout these three stages of my education, I have devoted myself to words and language, not only through my English specialisation, but also my participation in debating. I am continuing with this commitment to communication as I finish my final degree, a Master of Teaching (Secondary), which qualifies me to teach English globally in school settings.
Some of my most notable achievements are:
Being the current coach of the Australian Debating Team (2026) and one of its members when I was in Year 12 (2020).
Being the past coach of the victorious New South Wales Debating Team (2025) and one of its members in 2020.
Being the Captain of Debating at Sydney Grammar School in 2020.
Being ranked as the second best University Debater in Australia (2025) and the Best University Adjudicator in Australia (2025).
